Leave it to Roger to get a motorcycle stuck in the mud!

Get ready for more rain, shall we suit up now?
Our  resting place, AFTER Roger got out of being stuck in the mud.
Friday, May 12, by Jolene.  More driving today, and more rain showers.  Roger had researched where we were going to spend the night, which was in the Lake Chubb Recreation area near Hixon BC.  We tried to take a short cut on a gravel road, and hit a spot that was impassable with a muddy, nasty area, road turned into a dirt track.   So we backtracked and went another way, but ended up at the same place.  It was also on gravel roads, and since it had rained they were wet and slippery.  Needless to say, it was a mess and the bike got very crusty.  Where we ended up setting up the camper was right at a lake, and a sort of muddy mess. Roger actually got the motorcycle stuck, and he had to work a while to get us out of the muddy spot he tried to set up camp at first.  That was a first, actually got stuck with a motorcycle – leave it up to Roger!  We cooked our first meal here, sausage and chicken corn soup we had brought from home.  We drove 380 miles today.
